#BEST ABLETON TUTORIALS SERIES#
There is another video series that I made for Groove 3 Called "effects plug-ins explained" that would probably help you- it is all about using EQ and Compression, as well as Reverb and delay. I don't want to give too many comments without checking it out in the studio but in all honesty listening on headphones I really don't think they are that bad at all and you could salvage them quite easily without much doing to them. I don't think it's the sounds themselves, more the way they are mixed. Just having a listen to your soundcloud now and I'm listening on my headphones (DT250s) from my laptop, so I might get it into the studio later to double check it, by going by the first couple my first comment would be that they sound like fairly low quality MP3s, I'd be interested to hear the AIF versions - IMO you're probably better off having less tunes on there and have them as AIFFsĪside from that you know I really don't think it's that far off, and they're good tunes man.
#BEST ABLETON TUTORIALS PLUS#
the big plus to it is, that you'll learn alot of new things that you can take home and add it to your growing skills." and it doesn't cost a fortune these day to do that. two days, and you'll go out as a happy men. you'll see how big the difference will be when someone who is doing this all the time is putting his hands on it with you together. My advise would be, to take two or three of your tracks and take them to a good engineer / producer and finish them off there. i have listened to the other tracks on your soundcloud page and it's the same with those. it's rather the sounds, especially the drum sounds and most of all the production itself. It's not a case of "mastering", it's also not the arrangment, which is ok. any of the new remixes of this track that i've got in over the last weeks, are way better than this one. "it's not a bad mix, but it's also nothing that makes me jump around. I managed to get some of my tunes listened to by the boss of a well known dance music label and he wrote back
